I did a photoshoot for a Finnish guitar player on Friday. We were mostly by the Williamsburg waterfront, and it happened to be a rather cold, windy day, so every couple of hours I had to go inside a bar and warm up my shutter finger back to the point where I could feel it again
Among other things, I brought the Ciroflex that Andrej kindly fixed up for me (for the second time
), and loaded it up with my second favorite emulsion in the world, Ektachrome 100SW (my favorite emulsion, by a very small margin, is 100VS). Usually I let my Epson V500 handle the exposure/contrast/color balance/whatnot, but for this shot, it looked better if I took it flat off of the scanner. I added contrast and stuff in Lightroom, but the flat color cast is pretty much unaltered. I really believe this to be one of my favorite shots ever. At least today
