I went to Iceland to see my Icelandic mates! Not a photo trip, a family trip, sneaked an old Rollei and a tripod into the case...

A magnificent start!  My own is more rural idyll stuff in black and white.  I went out with a new camera--a Gundlach Korona 5x7 with a shift/tilt/swing front standard and decided that I like what it can do.  Nonetheless, here's a straight-up lakescape with accidental fisherman (who makes the shot).  I had to stomp the hell out of the resolution to  make the file smaller--shooting LF really makes me aware of the limitations of digital imaging.

Now THAT'S a great start to a weekend thread! I can't even pick a favorite to call out. They are all superb.

Here's another expired T-Max shot from my new-ish N2020.

That is the best start to one of these threads I have seen particularly the first 3 images on the page. I have been testing out a newly acquired Mamiya rz67 pro II:

Hi all. Thought I'd join in here for the first time in weeks. Here are a few of the Instants I took today whilst oot and aboot in Cornwall. This post is more to confirm that I am still alive and that I am still taking photos, rather than for people to ooh and aah over my artistic vision  :) ;D ;)

I likely won't have anything from this weekend, as I will be on Cape Cod sailing & shooting, but not developing until Monday at the earliest. Therefore, I'll share one of my most favoritest shots to date. I took this on a gig that I was on with the Jesse Malin band (D-Generation, etc) last month at the former CBGB's, now a John Varvatos store. But they sometimes do shows there, and when they do, they have an incredible sound system and lights. This is a reverse-angle backlit shot of the bass player, whom I was standing behind, who is a little bit of a legend herself, she plays with Norah Jones' newest project and is very very VERY solid bass player (I know, I've played with a couple hundred :) )

Anyways. Canonet, Ektachrome 100S shot at 50 (actually, I think I even overexposed this one an additional stop), cross-processed C41

That first shot from Iceland is spectacular Dave, I would love to go there someday.  I also love the old tractors Paul, great colors.  This first one is the first test of my new 4x5 Crown Graphic using a beat up old Kodak Kodar lens (I just ordered a better lens).  It's a 100 second exposure shot on Ilford Delta 100 and Semi-Stand developed in Rodinal 1-100 for 1 hour.

These next two were shot at the Seafair air show in Seattle on Sunday using my Olympus OM-1 with Kodak Portra 400.  I used an Olympus OM-System Zuiko Auto-Zoom f:4 75-150mm lens with a 2X Auto Prinz Var-I-Rim Lens Extender.

always nice to combine work and pleasure, that's just what I did this week. Had four couples who stayed at the hotel I work and they brought some very old cars, kindly asked them if I could take some pictures, Swiftly went in my office opened a cupboard to see what cameras I had lying around at work.... the Mamiya M645J loaded with expired Ektachrome 100GX.... nice! Shot it at box speed with my lightmeter app on my iPhone and Xpro'ed it with a tetenal c-41 kit. Some times I get the idea that when I follow the lightmeter app's advice it tends to get  slightly over exposed.

Just got back from a week-long vacation and haven't yet begun developing the daunting pile of film (12 rolls of B&W and 7 of color), let alone scanning, so I'll have to fall back on something from a few weeks ago. ONDU 6x6 pinhole on Acros in Caffenol-C-M (RS).

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

Oh how I love these weekend threads! Paul's pinholes, Satish's backlit band shot, Peter's cars, especially that first shot, and that lith print from jojonas...all standouts for me this week.

Fluminian, I took a few boat pictures inspired by yours. Haven't developed the film yet so I don't know how they'll come out, so I hope they'll measure up! :)

I didn't shoot as much as 02Pilot, but I've still got 12 rolls total to develop (or be developed, for the color rolls). In the meantime, here's some extension tube fun with Fuji Superia 200, a K1000 plus its trusty sidekick, the 50mm f1.7 (love this lens.)

Wow, another great weekend thread. Really great stuff.

As I mentioned in another thread on this forum, I've recently acquired an Omega B22 enlarger and last night, thanks to some tips from fellow Filmwasters, I was able to get a couple of passable results. Here are scans of my two keepers from last night:
