Where's Elmo?
« on: April 17, 2007, 11:55:13 PM »
Long time reader - first time poster. A few (actually many) months back I met up with Skorj of this Ilk and we were discussing, amongst other things, why I had switched from digital to film. He thought it would make a good post. It would if I ever got round to writing it. In the meantime I'll let my film do the talking as I encourage you take a short trip through the back streets of Tokyo in the quest of finding Elmo. A couple of the scenes are from Skorj's 'back garden'.

Find Elmo

Enjoy!

What a great game. Spot the Elmo, enjoy the walk, recognize my street. I like the work too.

A brilliant execution of an excellent idea! Lovely!

I found myself getting too caught up in the Elmo spotting to give the images the full time that they deserved, but I will be revisiting as they are definitely worth dwelling on.

Great stuff!

I enjoyed that - great stuff.

I know a joke about those little oriental dogs .... ahem (clears throat):-

I took my nephew for a day out at the local zoo.  We paid the £15 entrance fee with some excitement. especially looking forward to seeing the minkeys.  It became immediately obvious that all the cages were empty.  All, that is, apart from one, which contained a small folorn looking dog.  My nephew said to me, "Uncle Leon, this zoo is rubbish, all they've got is one little dog."  "Yes," I replied "it's a shitzu"

geddit?

Thanks for taking the time to view and comment. I had a fun couple of days rushing round trying to grab the pictures. The poster was only up for a couple of weeks as it was advertising Disaster Preparedness Week. It also took me some time to gather the energy to do the Elmo project HTML coding. It was, however, much easier than I had initially expected. I'll be putting more pictures up of my two dogs this weekend.

Talking of which, I read recently that dog breeders have crossed a Bull Dog with a Shih Tzu but are having difficulties in what to name it...

Take care
Guy
