thanks all. It's good to get out with the camera. FIrst time since June, and first time with the Bronica since last Autumn.
Tech details for those interested:
1. camera: Bronica SQAi
2. lens: standard 80mm
3. filters: +2 or +4 close ups
4. film: HP5+
5. developer: pyrocat HD
6. Exposure: Battery dead in light meter so mostly wild guesses - not recorded.
7. Accessories: 8x loupe for focusing, plastic bag to kneel on (avoids muddy knees), swiss army knife to trim surrounding vegetation, air blower bulb to remove any extraneous detritus or flies/ maggots from the 'shrooms, spare battery for light meter (to avoid #6 above), wife to locate new subjects while you are taking the pictures, dog to run about madly and scare off any particularly threatening squirrels.
Deborah - the focus is just down to getting in close and using a good quality loupe on the GG for critical focus placement. I tend to extend the lens to the maximum and then move the camera to focus.
