If you check the new55 blog, it seems like the first objective is to get production to a scale where it would cost no more than $10 per sheet........so it's unlikely to be a mass market product. There's also a "new55" Flickr group. Not a lot on there just yet but it looks interesting.
Incidentally, it appears that it's possible to create a "negative" out of the peel-off bit of the type 55. Anyone ever done this? Do you need a degree in organic chemistry and specialised kit to do it or would a muppet like me stand a fighting chance?
