Sorry but as a long-time Rush fan, I can't let this slander stand! It's GEDDY Lee. And Neil Peart (the drummer) writes all the lyrics. I'll bet if anyone could write a quality song about the Holga, it would be Neil.
Well, Rush has produced a few songs with photographic connotations (though not necessarily about photography, as such) already:
"The Camera Eye" (Moving Pictures)
"The Analog Kid" (Signals)
"Digital Man" (Signals)
They also had a very good portrait taken by Yousuf Karsh which made an appearance on the reverse of the album cover for "Grace Under Pressure".
Why on earth would Rush (or Neil Peart) want to write a song about a Holga, of all things? Definitely more down Morrisey's street. Maybe even Jedward....?
