The article is quite nice.
but i can't see myself teaching... I'm a wreck in front of crowds.
You don't need to step in front of hundreds. Just 2 or 3 at first shouldn't be intimidating. Start at lunch over a nice meal. Get to know the people personally and keep on chatting after dinner. People tend to be quite nice when they really want to learn something, not just follow some dumb class for school credits. All you need to do is be nice to them, they always give it back.
Since it is an hands on technique, just let your hands do the talking and answer the few questions people will ask.
Have people surround you, not confront you in a classroom. Build a "circle" of learning. People like circular exchanges. You might even learn something about some other photo process in the process (I know this sentence reads funny... but I can't seem to be able to fix it

).
I think you would be fine.
