more 665 shot a week and a half ago but fresh out of the darkroom... The second one's 'final print' is much darker but doesn't look like I want it to in a browser, so here is a version printed 20% lighter.

It's great to see such great splashes of colour. Winter in the UK has settled back in to it's traditional combination of grey, wet and more grey. I was beginning to forget what colour looks like! Keep up the good work!

I want to see more from Bhutan and Moab!!!!!
Here's some pre-snowstorm stuff from earlier this week.  The trusty Exakta with Delta 100 and Rodinal 1:100.  Used the Meyer 100mm Trioplan, which is my favorite lens on this camera.  Channelling Fritz Lang again...

Some stunning work here (as ever). Love Gregor's first, Astrobeck's road trip, J Warden's grey day at the beach and Phil's elderly man. That said, it's impossible to say what I prefer as they are all beauties in their own right.

My efforts are split. First a foreign lady who looked very lost amongst the crowd at Liverpool Street station. Second, a couple of shots from the church of "St Mary and St Lambert" at Stonham Aspal in Suffolk - home of Astrobeck's ancestors.

All shots taken with a Nikon F5 and using Fuji 400H Pro colour print film. I've cropped a couple to square because I prefer them that way - but they are all 35mm negs from the same roll, originally.

Hi all,

I mostly lurk here and have not done a lot of photography since my daughter was born 8 yrs ago.  I almost always look at the weekend threads anytime I'm online.  Love the images every time.

Here are some I took recently to try Ektar on the Great Wall and Salyut C.

Well here are a few from my Minolta Himatic 7s. Actually these are from the test roll which I finally printed and scanned. The images are shot one Legacy 400 and printed on Fomaspeed Variant 312. I like the camera, it was was dirt cheap, and takes nice pictures.

Sam - love your set of 4 but the blues and greens of the second one are just awesome. The plant pots are also stunners.

Roger - I've looked at some reflections like these in buildings near where I work and your shots have convinced me to give it a go. Really nice.

Ahh - kent at it's bleakest, maybe Isle of Grain is slightly bleaker, but only just. - nicely done Nigel.

So far, I've managed to find Hoo, Ware, and Wye in Kent.  Just need a When and What and we'll have the full set.

Diane : If a cheap Pen is at next weeks Camera Fair I may have to indulge... Nice...

Becky : As for the Space Invader... Well many have been placed around London using coloured tiles if you can see. What surprised me was that someone selected that Invader (probably due to its height) to graffiti a "beam me down Scotty" cow.

Coming in late again. Great shots by all and such a wonderful variety of styles and types of film and perspectives! So nice to come in on Sunday night to view all of the weekend images.

I shot a lot of film in the last week. There has been some crazy weather here. Lots of rain and snow and now the sun is back. I hear we've had the wettest season in recorded history in some parts of Southern California and after what I saw today, I can believe it!

So the snow shots were Kodak Portra 400NC. The lake shot and the two sunset shots were both taken on Kodak Ektar 100. I cant believe the color of that film. I think I found my two favorite 35mm films. And that lake shot isnt really a lake. Thats just water gathered in the desert, blocked in by a road. It was a huge area. I saw it as I was driving by and had to grab a few shots. I've never seen anything like it, not even in the washes.

Miles, that is water with ripples on it from the wind. It was just crazy driving down that road and suddenly seeing all that water. That just doesnt happen in the desert.

Wow Miles!
Those snow shots are fantastic... I just love the vintage lamp post in the snow. Too bad around here everything of such vintage has been sent to the landfill during the 1970's...

Mojave, I just love the cactus in the snow... an agave I presume?
