@ Paul Mitchell

Cheers Paul, glad you like them. Those flowers you posted are right up my street but the bottom 2 (in particular) are the "stand outs" for me. The way the bokeh almost bleeds into the shadows is superb.

Thanks, Phil.

Those were with the Gakkenflex.  These are with the Leica -- a little clearer...

Beautiful images Hookstrapped, I love the differential focus on the first two.

Just thought I would post this image that was taken some time ago but managed to scan on Sunday night.

Taken on my trusty Agfa Super Isolette on HP5 using my 'huur' filter... just breathe on the lens... let it clear a bit and voila!

anyway, loving the flowers from urban  so here's some more from yesterday..
hassy 800z.

The Fuji 800z reminds me  little bit of the dearly departed ScotchChrome 1000 (though, unfortunately it was never available in 12o size). I still have some in my freezer and I keep thinking I should take it out and use it it but then I think I want to wait for something really special to use it on - something really 'sponge-worthy'.

Great stuff everyone! There are too many good images to name anyone :)

Thanks Skorj. However I think I need to figure out that DOF thingie ;) Oh, and have a look if the lens is OK ... Anyway, I would get another Yashica Mat if this one turns out to be broken.

I've finally finished the roll in my Mat and had a look at the lens ... There are many small drops of liquid (?) in there. So I guess I'll need a new one. At least I now know why some of my images where so weird. :(

Suzi - I'm wtg. on a roll of XP2 to come back from my first try on a charity shop Isolette II.  Slight fungus so not sure how well it will turn out.  Will post if it comes out ok  ;D

Am thinking about getting a Gakkenflex, mostly because I love TLR's but also because it's 35mm and can do square format.  Are they worth the £40 GBP when you think what else is out there ?

70's stylie cropped E6 from the Petri 7S III, as stated in flickr, was going for the end credits of a cheap TV movie look ...

It's an addictive pastime(s), especially combined.  I need to lay off of it a bit now  ;D

The Oly Trip 35 was great for this but then I got the underwater Canon SS A1 so even the English couldn't stop me.

Nice, love those B&W ones. A recent similar set from me can be seen here: Hot Wheels. Shot from this barge though, not an agile Vespa.

Not a fan of those Lambrettas and Vespas. Very unstable and sound like hairdryers.

Crikey, that's a beast Skorj !

Late Developer - Rocker ? Schmocker !   ;D ;D ;D

I've had many bikes too, even a '68 Trophey but it's just all a bit too easy with modern bikes, maybe.

Funny that stability myth still lingers.

The Trophey was beautiful BTW (to look at, at least ...).  ;D

Hi Miles.

Sadly, I don't think it's a myth. I've seen three really nasty schooter accidents caused by small wheels hitting disproportionately large humps / pot-holes - ones that a motor-cycle sized wheel would have coped with. One of them involved a rugby playing friend of mine who lost a leg.

Another was hysterically funny as (thankfully) it didn't cause any injury - just a red face. A chrome-helmeted, parka-wearing chap banked his Vespa over a tad too hard whilst cutting a corner a bit too close. His foot board hit the kerb and spun him round in a complete 360. He ended up "dazed and confused" sat in the middle of a junction with traffic flying all rouind him and quite an audience on the other side of the road giving him a round of applause  ;D

Scooters can look pretty cool, but I don't think I'd ever want to ride one....

Ok ...

Moving swiftly onto the subject of film photography and recent processing ...  :)

The first roll (XP2) out of the Isolette II I picked up last week.  Clear being in mind the fungus, though it's a crap scan of a print rather than a neg.  Hampton Beach.

Love the second one down in the latest set you posted. The foreground looks like a tear in the earth. Superb.

Where was the top one taken. Looks familiar but I don't know why....

Cheers Paul,

The top three are all at Hampton (between Herne Bay & Whitstable, North Kent Coast), This Sunday gone, the weather was filthy.  There are others I took with a computer with some glass on the front and then edited but I rather like these as they were the test roll in the Agfa.

Also shot some 127 rfke r100 in an 30's Eastman Buttet, but not developed it yet.

Whoops, though through a Duaflex, it was taken on the 5D so I've removed and replaced with one on Ilford Delta 400.

at least two rolls of the color film I shot in Ecuador came out with this weird color shift/light leaks...etc..thinking it may have something to the incredible humidity I experienced on the coast or I just didn't keep them well enough sealed..anyway..it is what it is and I couldn't just thow them out..besides I kinda like the "weirdness" of this one! If anyone has an idea please feel free to comment..I would love to have a good explanation of what happened..
