Happy to see the weekend coming!

This is from a photo walk with Miguel back in January. Cars should still look like this.

A couple from my test film for the Yasuhara and Jupiter 8. Delta 100.

This one straight into the sun to see what the Jupiter was like for flare. Not bad I'd say.

The Jupiter 8 is a 1958 version. Some say the earlier ones are better.

The Yasuhara has a light leak. Doesn't show up on these two but some more work needed.

These are two from 15 minutes ago...
These ones are for all the lovers of snow out there (This one's for you Miguel).
So yeah, we're all snowed-in. Roads are super icy with a good layer of snow on top just to make things more treacherous fun.
Almost got run over by a big tractor when taking those...

No snow here, these are from Lunar New Year in Chinatown, Honolulu.  Ricoh Diacord L with Kodak Portra 800.

This is the back of an old building in China Town with high rise condos in the background.  I propped the camera on a metal post to use a slow shutter speed, I think it was around 1/10.

Love the first shot, Pete! I usually have a Jupiter 8 on my Leningrad, but here I've gone wide with the A.Schacht Ulm Travegon 35mm f3,5.

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

That's ok Irv. You can definitely participate in spirit. Sometimes words are worth more than a picture.

Francois I'm a bit jealous of your snow pictures. So far we've had only a dusting all winter, the least snowy winter on record.

Yesterday was a really good dumping. It's the biggest I've seen in years and it might actually be a record.
Had to go to the drugstore today and the streets are a mess. The big boulevards are single lane. Followed a tractor most of the way... s-l-o-w

But at least it's sunny, which means cold (-13°C + windchill = -26°C). And it looks so good.

We have had some decent snow here in NY, and when we were up in Portland, ME over the new year holiday we got hit solidly. I took some night photos as it was coming down, which I'll probably end up posting in May or June.

The locals here are complaining about the cold, it got own to 62F last night and only a high of 77F yesterday.    ;D

I told them that's a normal summer day in Seattle.
