Funny thing is he's got a few cameras that I also have :)

I've studied his work for a few years and have tracked down many of his locations in Amarillo that are seen in "Uncommon Places" which is a bit worse for wear after riding around in the front seat of my truck while searching out those spots.
As you can imagine, a lot of the locations have gone by the wayside, but a few are still mostly intact.
One in particular, Doug's Bar B Que, is still in business and still serves great food by the owners granddaughter who happened to have one of the handmade postcards Shore used to leave around in racks on the sly.

I tried to get him to do a photo walk with some friends and myself a few years ago in Amarillo, but he declined due to a teaching schedule.
Nice guy really.
So, yeah, I'm in the fan column!

I really loved it when he said that either people "get it" or "don't get it" when it comes to his photography. It made me smile as it's so relevant to most of us :)
