Weekend Thread: Sept 21-23
« on: September 21, 2018, 04:58:01 PM »
Hi All.

Hope everyone is having a good one. I certainly need a drink. My roommate bought me a bottle of Johnnie Walker Double Black, so we'll see how long that lasts.

These are a couple of shots from last Saturday's walk with Jeff in the Kensington neighborhood of Philly, which is notorious for the high-crime rate and heroin overdoses. I'm going back there tomorrow. Both shot with the Bronica ETRSi and the 75mm 2.8

In the darkest part of the forest, under some dry branches, I found a crushed wooden crate......

Nice start Miguell.  About 20 years ago my wife and I were driving through Philly, this was before GPS, I accidentally drove through North Philly.  I still hear about that from her.

I like that crushed wooden crate and those schnoozing elks.

Here are two views from a walk around Boston, Massachusetts last Saturday:  the Zakin Bridge from the vantage point atop Cops Hill and the towers of Copley Square from a window in the Museum of Fine Arts.  Tomorrow, we will take the ferry down Narraganset Bay to Newport, Rhode Island.  The weather forecast is good.  Maybe I will waste some more film.

Greats shots everyone. The Ferreteria is brilliant, Miguel. Love your shots, you've developed a really cool style.

I had to skip a few weekend threads due to not having enough new material to show. I only had the chance to shoot some film last weekend. These shots were taken at or near the Lichtenburg which is an old castle ruin. The light was either too harsh (first shot) or too little (second shot). But it was good shooting the Bronica SQ-A again. Film is Fomapan 100, as always developed in Caffenol-C-H (RS).
