Weekend July 27th - 29th
« on: July 27, 2018, 01:49:42 PM »
Let's start the weekend thread, bright and early (in the U.S).

Kodak Tmax 400 (35mm), cheap orange filter, developed in Rodinal 1:50 for one hour. Shot on the Canon EOS 650 with a 50mm 1.8, aperture priority mode.

This one was shot on the same camera and lens, but with Portra 400.

Lovely shots! I have always liked foggy B&W scenes. I am going to Philly tomorrow to take some B&W shots in the rain, hopefully catch something good with the Bronica.

Worst case scenario, I'll have some beer and oysters and get drunk  8)

Thanks Miguel, I'm getting some good opportunities to photograph fog on the coast here.  I was thinking about going to Crater Lake on Sunday but it looks like it will be quite smokey with the wildfires burning in the area.  I don't think smoke will photograph well up there.  We could use some of that rain here, it hasn't rained all month.  The fire danger is as high as it gets right now.  I may have to go back to the coast and cool off, it hit 100F here in Cottage Grove, Oregon yesterday.  Oysters and beer sound great, good luck shooting in the rain.

Yeah, the temperature here right now is 31C, 100% humidity. I went for a quick one-hour workout to the gym last night, and I was sweating more in the car on the way home than doing cardio  :D
