Mamiya C3 with a Mamiya Sekor 65mm lens in the first photo and a Mamiya-Sekor 1:2.8 80mm lens in the second. The film is Lumipan Panchromatic ASA 100 that expired in April 1976 developed in Beer.

Friday afternoon and no we thread yet? Here we go.. oops, Bryan was faster while I was writing, so I moved here.

Have not shot anything in the past week and a half or so.... But I'm hoping to get at least a roll this weekend.

This is from my first roll of slide film, Fuji Provia 100F, developed by Old School Lab. I left it in the back of my truck for about 3 months before sending it to be developed. Taken with a Canon EOS 650 and the Nifty-Fifty.

Wonderful start to the weekend. Laura has let me start taking pictures of her again now that she has some hair back. This is on Satish's "Desert Fresh" Ektachrome 64T. That stuff is no good for skin tones (think boiled lobster) so I hit it with the Silver Efex hammer. Shot with the trusty Pentax K1000.

Lovely photos so far. Bryan, the fern is very pretty. Is it a Lager or a Stout fern?

Seriously, the tonality is brilliant.

The following two photos were shot with a Canon F-1 (1st photo w/ Canon 135mm/f2.8 (I think) and the second one on the nifty fifty Canon 50mm/f1.4) on Fomapan 100 (dev. in Rodinal) using an orange filter (thanks to O2Pilot for inspiring me to use it). There's no sky visible in these particular shots but I still like the way the filter helped to accentuate the elements of the shots.

P. S.: I arrived in the Peak District (UK) today. We arranged a filmwasting photo walk for this Sunday (25th), please have a look at the "Meet in the Peak" thread and let us know if you'd like to join us. I'm very much looking forward to that meet.

I've been having an awfully good time playing with an old family camera recently. It's a Brownie Autographic folder from 1915 that my dad gave me a few months ago. I'll put together a proper review soon but for now I'm having a ball getting to know it. I'm told it was purchased as a new camera by my 2x great uncle (his business cards were in the box, complete with exposure notes in his hand on the reverse). It's in wonderful condition! I've been making contact prints as snapshots and sepia sulfide toning them. So fun.

Thanks cs1, that would be a lager fern, I wouldn't waste a good stout for developing.

I replaced the focus screen in my Pentacon Six so I had to test it. The first is shot wide open at f2.8, the second at f4.0. And the focus is where I intended it to be!

Scanning more old negatives .... architectural detail. Nikon F60 - 200 ISO film not sure of the make but ISO number is on the film margin - processed by supermarket lab.

I am currently shooting the Ricogh GR1 and the Contax G¡. As usual they all have their weaknesses and strenghts, and enjoy both of them. These two with the Ricoh.

Jeff is having too much fun with his family heirloom, and even better to make snaps of the family with it.

Mine's a solargraph that I made shooting straight up through a sunflower plant that voluntarily came up in my garden this year.
It's from the few days of solstice this week....
the usual 35mm film can converted to pinhole loaded with old photo paper then scanned (as color) and tweaked for contrast.
I only do two of these a year now...

I'm away at the moment, so nothing new from me this weekend, but I've enjoyed seeing everyone else's work. Brian's dock, cs1's gate (glad you're enjoying the orange filter experience), and Jeff Warden's contact print really stand out to me among a very nice selection overall.

Well, I tried Ilford FP4 and I'm in love with it. This shot is not as sharp as others, and the cheap circular polarizer from Polaroid makes the overall result very grainy, especially the sky, but I like the film so far.

Taken with my Elan 7 and developed in Ilfosol 3 1:9 for 4 minutes. I hope everyone had a great weekend! Amazing pictures so far.

Two firsts here: first roll of Eastman Double-X 5222 and the first roll through a new-to-me Leica IIIa. I got the speeds mostly where they need to be, but 1s on the slow dial doesn't work like it should (works like T). It has a strange shutter curtain material and I'm wondering if that has something to do with the inconsistency.

When you get the chance, take off the lens and fire a flash gun into it, both in cocked state and fired. That'll show you if your curtains would make good cheesecloth.

I don't think it's leaking light, but the material on the first curtain is strange. Like a vinyl upholstery fabric.

Slow speed needs to be adjusted - the rod that actuates the slow speed escapement is slightly out of position. Unfortunately, tedious tweaking is the method here. If I were home I'd offer more detailed instructions, but basically that's the problem, and it will be solved at the slow speed selector dial.

Also looks like theres some shutter dragging on that IIIa as well. Just seeing that one side of the image is much brighter than the other. Even though there is some light falloff in the shot it shouldn't be that dramatic. To be expected when buying an old Leica i'm afraid.

I think that's mostly due to the placement of the subject. Our guardian porch owl sits toward the front of the porch and is in more sun than the shoes, which are in shadow. And it was a very bright day. You could be right, but the lighting certainly doesn't help, and I metered for the shoes.
