Love it love it love it!

Reminds me a bit of Tessa Traeger's work:

For some reason I love portraits that don't feature the sitter's face. Psychoanalysis, please...

I'm not sure if I'm qualified to psychoanylize you Ailsa, but I will point out that although a face may not be evident the sitter is all head!

 ;)

btw Andrea, my smart-alek remarks aside, I really love this shot too!

I can envisage a series coming on - travelling cabbage?  Vegetable Head substitution?

it's a nice shot. i'd like to see a whole series on this.

of course cabbages always make me think of that episode of what's happening when they join a cult that worships a head of cabbage.

sheesh, i've really watched way too much tv in my time...

Uugh? No idea what this is about. Have not had tv for 30 years. I hear its colour now.

here's the wikipedia entry on the show. it aired about 30 years ago so you may have still had a tv then. :) looks like it was lettuce and not cabbage though.

yup. I love this too.  the great composition gives it a philosophical bent
