I had not heard of this before now, but I don't follow Fuji rumors.

The B&W film is a real thing, I still have some in my Mini.
And the square format probably will come to fruition since there is so much demand for anything Instax.

What surprises me, is the source of this uplifting story.  Time magazine! Who would have thought?  Perhaps the editors were influenced by their glorious history in film photography.  Shame on me for my negative thoughts about our press.  It's a feel-good story nevertheless.
