I thought I had stepped into my time machine by accident when I read this... but I guess it's true :)

Maybe they're finally seeing the light -- and the success that Harman has had with the revived Ilford.

I am starting to wonder if these aren't made at the Lucky Film factory???
Kodak did have a deal to transfer technology to Lucky (this including T grain and X-ray film)

you might be right there Francois - Kodak and Lucky have quite a close relationship these days - and I'm sure I read something similar

I have used some of the lucky "ERA 100" film and I like it, (bearing in mind i'm a complete noob) seems to come out ok, nice fine grain, so if the new Tmax is made by them I shan't worry, big K on the box will push the price up though.

My only experience with Lucky has been painful and believe me, I'm about the least fussy person ever when it comes to the quality of film. I still have about 10 rolls at home waiting to be used for tests on any new cameras/lenses etc. Horrible stuff it is.

Suspect Kodak will demand a higher quality product from Lucky than they have produced in my experience. Wait and see I suppose. Does this mean something else is now being made in China? Hmmm.

Andrea.

I think Lucky Film and Era film are two seperate makers. ERA100 in 35mm only is nice stuff and works well in APH09. Lucky100 is a bit basic and has 'issues' but works well in box cameras and the like.
