Two cards arrived so far...the bar is raised high! :)

I have to get in gear...I promise, this weekend I'll shoot something worthy of putting on a post card and mailing out.

cards printed... just got to find time to write something interesting (and legible) on them.
Hopefully will have them in the post by deadline day..!

Meanwhile, splendid cards so far received from Diane and Jonathan... thank-you both.

Nice to see the cards being displayed, gsgary... interested to learn what other folk do with them... I use them as bookmarks... a little nugget of F/W inspiration whenever I pick up a book..!

I can't find anyone who'll do a short run of square cards, so I've chosen a different photo and will be organising printing tonight / tomorrow (work permitting).  Might be a few days late but I'm getting there (slowly.....)

And mine are on their way. This is my first time printing my own (inkjet), so I hope they hold up to the rigors of travel.

Mine went out earlier this week, and I just got Irv-b's and Manuel's cards last night. I love postcard season! :)

I had cards from previous years up in my hallway for a while, but I've got an idea for a display in my office at work, so whenever I'm bored with spreadsheet work, I can simply raise my eyes to see beautiful pictures and feel better. I'll post a picture when I have it done.

Two received today. A really cool tutone 4x5 contact print that I assume to be from Irv_b based on his previous post, the postmark and distance to his address. Also, 02Pilot's card, love the light. Thanks guys!

In complete agreement, Irv... very high standard.
More monochrome magnificence arrived yesterday from Adam and Leonore. Thanks to you both. Brilliant stuff... and humble thanks also for all your kind comments.

Well, after a bit of a circuitous route and a favour from a friend, I got mine sorted yesterday evening and they will be posted tomorrow. Apologies for my tardiness but, hopefully, better late than never.

I've received a few this week but haven't yet had time to sit and have a proper look at them and say thank you properly. I will do so later today.

Wow; twelve received so far (as of midday on 15th Oct).  In no particular order of arrival or preference, huge thanks to all for the following;

1. Manuel's wonderful Type55 of fading sunflowers
2. Kentish Cob's moody derelict pier head at Herne Bay
3. O2 Pilot's gorgeous night-time steps
4. Gary's impeccable study of a horse and rider outside a posh house
5. Leonore's fabulously modern-art public still-life study
6. Adam Doe's beautifully retro Pinball arcade
7. Jonathan Uren's superb vision of the Golden Gate Bridge
8. Bob Pavich's excellent ancient barn
9. Peter Stoel's amazing abstract of a rescued engine
10. A tremendous contact print of Rotherhithe swing bridge by an un-named artist
11. Diane's stonkingly brilliant pinhole of a very wonky looking house
12. A very dark and brooding stand of trees by another un-named artist (might have come from Norway - not sure)

(All mono as well....)

Received this past week, making 11 in total so far, Bob's barn, Gary's Chatsworth gates, Peter's engine, Aksel's brooding treeline, and the first colour of the season in Paul's St Pauls...
Splendid, every one.... Thanks to you all.

An international photo postcard bonanza today. Three cards arrived. Aksel's from Norway, Paul's from England and Peter's from The Netherlands. All really wonderful images. That makes twelve cards received. I'm looking forward to receiving the final two so I can take them all to work and hang them up.

Hi Aksel,
It's a great card - so thank you.  I didn't see a note but, to be honest, I was more fixated with the photo.  I don't think I kept the envelope....

I wish I could mention them all but I'll just say that the cards I received were not only beautiful and interesting but varied and creative. It was an inspiration to see them. I taped them together in a collage and taped them to my darkroom door!
