new55 are looking into doing a 4x5 colour film as well as the P/N version they are currenty working on... could be a good replacement for the now discontinued fuji 100c (for those that shoot 4x5 anyway)

So you didn't get any image?  I'm happy with the negatives but the Positive needs work.  I don't see any reason to use it if I still have to fix the negative and don't get a good positive.  I may be more inclined to use color since I don't develop my own color film and I don't like the prospect of sending color 4x5 sheets to a lab.  I wonder if they will come out with a color monobath developer as well?

Maybe you should contact them about this. I know that they received at some point some non-compatible films or papers (I can't remember which). You might have gotten a few of those.

Yeah, it was a bummer. Damion was round here for the evening a few weeks ago and he brought the new55 with him. We tried out best, but got literally nothing. We had some expired Pola 5x4 pack film with us and it worked fine, so we weren't doing anything stupid. We also hadn't been drinking.

I was unsatisfied with the negative only stuff I got as a KS fulfillment. I think I got one good shot from a box of 5.
I contacted them and they said, "Thanks for the feedback."
