Looks like Friday 15th
« on: January 14, 2016, 07:55:03 PM »
Tutone #8.

Fomapan 200 in DDX.  Angulon 90/6.8 and Pinhole f.260.

Long overdue, as various things have gotten in the way of shooting recently, including about 50% of the Atlantic Ocean which has been getting dumped on south Wales at regular intervals.

A remarkable start to the weekend from everyone! It also seems fitting that Sandeha started this thread seeing as it's his birthday today!

Oh yeah. If I wasn't shooting wide open it was at F1.4 1/30th. for the dark streets 800 iso, 1.4 and 1/30th or 1/60th are usually the proper exposures for everything.

Leica IIIc, Voigtlander Color Skopar 21/4, HP5+ in Caffenol C-H(RS).

Happy Birthday, Sandeha! :)

Here's an older one from me that I'd forgotten about. Well, not really "forgotten" - more like "never paid attention to." I was going through some older rolls and found a few things that, for whatever reason, didn't catch my attention but now they have.

This was Tri-X shot in the Spotmatic, but IIRC, I was using the CZ Jena 50mm lens that I'd just gotten to use on Spot. Then I realized that the lens extended just a hair too far into the body and the mirror would get stuck, so I used an extension tube for a few shots just to see what the lens could do. (The lens is not on a Praktica.)

Happy birthday Sandeha!
What a great start to the weekend....I too have been absent but peek from time to time just like Carlos!
My contribution is from the trusty Holga...a feral one as I call it- unmodified and wild.

This shot from Amarillo where the beef is rather beefy!

Many happy returns, Sandeha.  I hope you've had a great day and many more to come.

As ever, the thread is a joy. Sandeha's openers are fantastic and others that have really caught my eye are Ezzie's "Frozen Swamp" and Kevin Allan's "Unmade Bed".

Mine are a pair taken a couple of "new" pieces of kit.  The B&W square is a snap of a security fence next to a car park taken using my new Holga 120N / Ilford XP2 Pro.  The colour 35mm shot was from the roll of Fuji Superia 800 I started as part of the lead up to Christmas thread until it all went a bit pants for me. Exit from Liverpool street station. Leica M6.

Hi all, I posted one of these on Instagram and Leon thought they're from Photographica 2014 - sounds about right to me.

Neopan 400 (those were the days, we thought they'd never end).

I just posted this photo on an another forum and might just as well post it here too. A rare portrait from me. Rolleicord V fully open and 1/30s, Fuji Reala 100 (converted to b&w in post).

I absolutely and unconditionally love the cinema colours of Cinestill by Hookstrapped. Flippy's Saab 96 or "tandem kayak" as we used to call it is really nice. Eirik's style is as elegant as ever.

Nice Drive in shot Phil, do they still show movies there?

This is a test shot with New55 film using a Crown Graphic.  This is a scan of the positive, I'm still waiting for the negative to dry.  The only thing I did to this after scanning was to crop it and auto white balance in Gimp.  The negative looks a lot better.

Bryan, not sure about this one. The screen was in the middle of a field and there was no other sign of activity - A quick search has revealed that it closed in 1973 with the final building removed in about 2001. It would seem that the screen in hanging in there.
