Oooh, nice colour 'roids there

I follow up with a couple of colour shots too, Portra 400. Can be both punchy and subtle, depending on the circumstances. These are from the same roll

Two very fresh prints from my very recent trip to the Holy Mountain.
Both prints are part of a small "exhibition" hung yesterday in a beautiful baroque refectory of Dominican friars in Prague.

Very nice start. That Porsche 356 and I need to spend some quality time together....

Just something from a recent hike from me. Canon L1, Serenar 50/1.9 w/ R25 filter, Ilford SFX200 in Caffenol C-H(RS):

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

What a brilliant start to the weekend. Stunners, all of them. Particular faves are Peter's lead-off quartet, Ezzie's diptych, Andrej's castle (though I think his typewriter's gone a bit weird  ;) ), Macfred's 911 (want one) and Kevin's Acer - but they are all wonderful.

Two more from Andalucia (specifically the Alhambra palace complex in Granada). Fuji GA645zi + Portra 400

Fantastic weekend everyone! I like all the shots best  :)

I didn't have time to take any pictures recently and only have some shots from a trip to the zoo in early autumn. It was already getting quite cold for some of the animals.

I adore that reversed Hawkeye shot of Riley! <3

I need a better quality scan of this, but here's a Polaroid from today. Some nice low-angle afternoon light on my new-to-me Victrola :) I wanted to take a second shot, maybe shine a bit of light inside the cabinet to get the turntable and needle lit better, but by the time I pulled the film, ran to get a flashlight, and ran back to the room, the rest of the light was gone :( The heartbreaks of natural light...

Thanks Limr.  I have two RCA Victor stereo consoles that I've fixed up.  We listen to records on them all the time, just got out the Christmas albums today.

That makes me think, I need to find a way to take a good shot of my grooviliscious space-age Electronics 712 Apollo sound system... It just needs a new capacitor to be in perfect shape.

That's a cool stereo, you need to fix it and take some pictures!

I so wish it was the case. But I'm afraid that piping 1.21 gigawatts of power through it would just vaporize it :)
But on just 110v, it works great as a time machine!
I just need a bit of shag carpet, hook up to it my Zamir Stereo Psychedelic lightshow speakers, drop the needle on The Association and just groove with it :)

I could also take out my "how to be a hippie" handbook ;)
(I actually have one from Chronicles books)
I could also read Roll your own (a book on converting old buses into rolling hippie homes) or Trippin across America (a book on roadtrips)...
I also have a copy of the Whole earth catalog...

With that, you can't say I don't have fine literature on my bookshelf  ;D
