Old churches in northern Norway
« on: October 23, 2015, 08:44:12 PM »
It all started with 2 pictures in the weekend thread where Jonas suggested I should make an essay about the interiors of old churches in northern Norway. Since I really did not have an essay in mind when I shot these pictures I have added some exterior shots as well. The interior shots were all done with existing light and low ISO (100) so they are rather on the limit with shallow DOF. All shots were taken with a Contax RX / Zeiss Planar 1.4 50mm and on Kodak Ektar 100 and Fujichrome Velvia 100 film.
These shots are from two churches located on an island named Alstadhaug.

Beautiful work Kai-San. Impossible to pick a favourite from such quality.

That is a really nice set. I like the shot of the organ pipes by the window. Something about that light... I can't put my finger on it, but it is triggering some sort of a memory for me. Thanks for sharing these. I'd like to see more of you have them.
