Sunday afternoon at the garage ...
« on: October 01, 2015, 07:21:56 PM »

First of all :
I'm not familiar with cars and I never did a driving license.
I usually  go by bicycle or by bus ...

It was a pretty boring sunday afternoon - my brother-in-law paid a visit.
He's a car enthusiast and I was persuaded to see the garage, where he often hangs around.
I wasn't particularly interested  … Anyway !

I decided to take a camera with me - the F4 was still loaded with CineStill 800Tungsten -
here we go …

Excellent set. I'm not a car nut but I do like looking at classics like these, well shot.

Holy Moly, that´s a lot of history under one roof! I am a car enthusiast and find it particularly interesting to see how someone who is not into it reads the scenes. Well done! and thanks for sharing!

A last one - also under the same roof and steeped in history ... Stefan Bellof's Porsche 956 :

In 1983 Stefan Bellof drove a Porsche 956 on the Nordschleife course, during the 1,000km Nürburgring endurance race. He set the fastest pole time ever on the course, clocking in at 6 minutes and 11.13 seconds, averaging 202.073 kms. He also set the record for fastest lap time at 6 minutes and 25.91 seconds, which remains the official record to this day.
