I'm usually a fan of Guardian editorial but I find this article contains a lot of words but actually says nothing - aside from making sweepingly inaccurate comments about the demise of film.

Agreed that the "editorial" is a bit watery, but the Magnum contact sheets book mentioned therein is very much worth getting, if it's still available.

It is, and it is (bought a copy for the GF's birthday in March, so I'm sure it's still around on Amazon...)

and from the 11th of september Foam has an exhibition about it in Amsterdam. It's only a 2 1/2 hours train ride to my nations capital, I might go and see that  8)
