notice the lithe, fit and healthy colonials and the two english FBs either side, although, as ED pointed out earlier, thsi is clearly caused by distortion from the wide lens Damion was using to take this.  I'm a bean-pole in real life .... honest. :o :D ::) ;)

He must have been using a special FB-series lens, because I do not recall you having stacked on that much...

Ah yes. Happy times. Glad I managed to step away from the insanity of my home life for a brief few hours to meet Don and El Gordo...and pick up a couple of sexy prints to boot...oh, and there was beer and pizza...and Damion and Leon.

This was a good one.  I almost didn't open this because I didn't know what/where Balham is.  And I was there.  Besides still owing Don a print now - am not sure which one it is Don?? blast my memory... - and owing Damion and Ed proper thanks for their respective gifts of CD's which have been much appreciated by my son and his bandmates and I, I have to say that I would love to do it again.  Not sure when or where but am open to the discussion.  Japan '08 ??

My chopstick is really a love poem.

Hah- Great memories Damion- I missed this post earlier.

Japan 08?? I'll need to find a client to sponsor my journey, but you never know. It'd be great to visit Skorj.
Or I have a standing invitation for filmwasters to come down under to the June 09 photo bienale, in the beautiful victorian highlands.

Gordo- I have a memory (such as anyone can have memories after that much beer and pizza) of an edgy composition with some sky, bits of palm tree, and a story of some guy rollerblading?? I'm likely mixing elements from three different prints here, but hey- they're all good  8)

Don, I remember that one too so your memory serves you well. It's a lovely photo to be sure.

I know the one, Don.  Thanks for the remembery.  Would you shoot me a reg. email with your address?  I will try to find yours as well but my mail has been wiped clean not too long ago...  I am looking to send the print soon though.  Have been trying to tidy up my longstanding obligations lately.  I have been suffering a postal block the past year or more... and now I must send objects to people.
