Film in Tescos Shock
« on: July 08, 2015, 07:24:16 PM »
Film has been spotted in Tesco, Roborough in Devon. This silver halide based product was under threat, but has been controversially re-introduced back into the supermarket eco system. A spokes person from Tesco UK said 'If we don't have it on the shelves the mobile phones and digital cameras get out of control and run wild from their shelf space- every eco system needs it's balance' 'It's a trial run at £2 a pack'.

A 21 year old man was seen in an agitated state after he could not plug a mini USB socket into the Fujifilm item. Paramedics were called to the scene and administered medical grade pixels, in an effort to calm the young man down.

Is that 2GBP for a 3 pack? I watched them build a local store here with a fantastic wooden superstructure and then transform it into a monstrous supermarket that I vowed I would never enter. But exceptions should be made to check out interesting offers...I wonder if this is a nationwide offer?  :o

Hi John, thank you for your kind offer, but I've checked our local store and the 3 packs are on sale here in Lincoln also! It looks like a mixture of old stock (Expiry 11/2015) and new stock (Expiry 07/2017). Remarkable, as I didn't think I'd find a film more cheap than the Agfa Vista 200 from Poundland (1GBP).  :D

A visit  to Tescos tomorrow is on the cards then  :) I wonder if we can shame the other supermarkets into stocking them and get a price war going  :) :)
