I never really understood who Robert Frank is. I have never read the Americans but do have his London/Wales photo book.

Not sure what you want in response to your original post, but I'll bite....I dearly love his London photos. I think they're extraordinary. Also, they have probably my favourite grain of any photos ever

From the article, it shed some light on what kind of photographer/artist he is. The London street photos and Wales miners photos was a great set but not having the chance to see his work on the Americans albeit bits and pieces from the article its hard to put myself in his shoes.
