Fishers Green is an attractive area of the Lea Valley Nature Reserve near Cheshunt. These photos were taken with my newlty resurrected Mamiya Universal Press loaded with two of my last remaining rolls of Efke IR820.
It also has an electricity sub station slap in the middle of it, which explains the pylons. The Lea Valley Nature Reserve is a series of gravel pits which have been turned back to nature. The River Lea itself is heavily engineered and canalised near Cheshunt and there is something appealing about which nature seems to reclaim man made structures, man has shaped the landscape of Britain but nature still seems to take over our alterations.
