One Roll, One Subject - Community Garden!
« on: February 27, 2015, 12:03:46 PM »
I was out testing my newly repaired Super Ricohflex when I drove by a community garden that I often drive by and never stop at. I decided it might be fun to stop at. I took a couple photos but the sun was too harsh. I returned a couple hours later with the Pilot 6, loaded a roll of Portra 160, and endeavoured to shoot the roll there.

The community gardens aim to provide city dwellers a space to garden, as well they feature some raised plots to make gardening easier for those with disabilities. As it is technically winter here the gardens are not particularly busy, but there were plenty still being tended to when I visited.

Really nice series, Flippy.  Great colours and nice to see a garden that isn't too "twee".
