B/W Sunsets
« on: August 01, 2014, 04:18:28 PM »
Does anyone else shoot these? This is one from my '26 Agfa PD16 Clipper loaded with Expired Tri-X. For an old p/s it gives consistently good photos.

The sun is sinking into the marine layer here in San Diego. Look close, you'll see it.  :)

One from last weekend. Not *quite* sunset, but at least it's on Tri-X too :)

Nice! I wonder what orthochromatic film would do with a rainbow?

now that I think about it, I'm probably more inclined to shoot sunsets if I have bw film loaded rather than color.

My lifelong quest to try to capture sunbeams. I don't feel like I'm getting any better at it.

It was guess work, took an incident reading and dropped it 1.5 stops

Few people know this but many of the classic sunburst photos were pretty heavily doctored using some ferricyanide bleach.

Since I'm on the east coast, is a sunrise shot allowed?
