Some new (and old) piccies from me.
« on: July 02, 2014, 03:02:49 PM »
Hi All - haven't been around much recently. It's mostly because I haven't been doing a lot of (any in fact) film photography over the past year or so. I've been testing out some new bits in preparation for a trip to the north east coast next week, so I have some new work to show you - I've also dev'd some films from last year too.

First two are using chamonix 045-N2 with horseman 6x9 back:

The rest are taken using an Agfa Isolette III:

Nice work Leon. #2 and #4 are especially appealing. I'm a little jealous of you folks who get interesting clouds in your sky. I know, I know it's unpopular to complain about 'too much sunny weather', but seriously blank skies can get a little tedious.

It's kinda weird to see you going back to your low-fi roots ;)

Glad to see the old Leon is coming back! :)

thanks all ... and Francois - I think of me more at Leon v2.1 new, improved, but with some retro-application.

Great photos Leon! I agree with Francois. The sky in some of those shots looks spectacular.

Those are all really great, Leon! I adore the first one - just stunning.

Looking forward to seeing the images you make of our North East coast, Leon - assuming you mean North East England. Marsden (South Tyneside) is worth a trip for rock scenery and is less frequently covered than the iconic/castle-y bits.

Dunstanburgh Castle Hotel?

Stayed there once. Was good. Walking distance to the beach.

Sounds good Peter ... But no, we have a cottage booked, near the beach too.
