Hi Becky.

As things stand, it's possible that I might be able to get to this show. Aside from wanting to see your photo, I have an ulterior motive - I have just acquired a pinhole camera and want to learn how to use it.  However, am I being a bit thick or is the link you provided about as clear as mud on where the various events are taking place?

Can you point me at the exact location of the exhibition, please (and the date/s and times it's taking place)?

I don't see the hours marked, so I'll see what I can find out and post here.

Seriously, if you can find the dates / times the exhibition is open, barring a serious need to be somewhere else, I'm up for a trip over there on the Saturday or Sunday.

I just went to the website and then re-read the message from the curator and she says a schedule will be up shortly. 
On the facebook page it lists times being 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m at Doomed Gallery.

As soon as I hear more, I will follow up here.

Got to agree.  That's one of my favourite pinholes that Becky's ever posted.

Lara and I will be there Saturday or Sunday.  I'm taking my d*g*tal camera and I'll take a few shots inside the gallery and post here (I believe d*g*tal is acceptable for illustration purposes - unless someone can confirm otherwise).

Lara and I just got back from London. 

We attended the exhibition and saw Becky's beautiful photo.  Bit of an odd location - in quite a dark basement behind Ridley Road Market in Hackney.  Nevertheless, nice bunch of people there and we were made to feel very welcome.  Later in the morning a chap turned up with a home-made 10x8 field "pinhole" camera and he was going to do some pinhole portraits. Unfortunately, we couldn't wait around for this, so I took some digi-snaps to give a feel of the place / exhibition. 

It's only on until tomorrow afternoon but it's worth seeking out (for Becky's photo alone) if you have a couple of hours to kill. Get the London overground from Stratford, four stops to Dalston Kingsland station and straight across the road from the station exit and about 400 metres down Ridley Road on the left is where you'll find Doomed Gallery.

Glad the print made it in one piece...it was a rush to get it there as I only had one day notice to get it printed, framed and shipped!

Wish I could have seen it in person...maybe next time!

I was at the opening last night and your print looked great and was much admired. I had some work in the show too, which are three small prints taken in Ljubljana with an Ondu, (bottom shot in Late Developers' fine report), and was very pleased to be involved. Modesty aside, and forgetting my involvement, I thought it was a great show with a very wide variety of work, different techniques and very different mediums showing how diverse pinhole photography is. All credit to Melanie King who curated the show. Also to the Doomed Gallery which is a very friendly and interesting exhibition space showing a lot of film based photography. Reminded me of some groovy galleries in Germany with a nice crowd of people for the opening. First time there myself and looking forward to the next show. Shame it's just open this weekend but well worth a visit for anyone nearby.

Becky, there was plenty of good company at the opening. Am not in London this weekend but expect the Pinhole Festival there would have been a good time with lots of visitors to see our work!
