A few from my FED-2 with the FED 50/3.5 (I-10) lens on Fuji Superia 200. First time I've shot color with this lens and I have to say I'm pretty pleased with it.

I simply can't pick a favourite from what's been posted to-date. Phenomenal start to a weekend thread.

Been doing a bit of scanning.  A few shot in LA last October at the end of the Route 66 drive.  Nikon FE and Fuji Provia 100f.

Until recently only a few of these metal posts were visible above the shingle, but the December storm surge has dramatically re-shaped the beach at Salthouse, creating something of a new local landmark.

Shot about nine rolls in NY last week so four contributions on my behalf this weekend

First is shot on apx 100. I was strolling around madison square garden and the big postal building when I saw this gentleman with a speed graphic, kindly asked him if I could take his picture. He replied sure if I may take one of you. I agreed. He said google my name if you get a chance to. Louis Mendes....
the construction workes is apx100 as wel, as is the demolitionsite
the musicians in central park is on retro 400S
All souped up in Xtol and shot with my eos 300

By the way I really like 02pilot work and LD first picture is amazing too!

Very nice, especially partial to Fluminian's Instax boat, Irv's first of the Shard, and Nick's of the beach.

My first ever roll through a C-41 home kit. A no-name C-41 400 speed BW film, Canon EF w/FD 50/1.8

Hi Frank, I had taken this with a Zeiss Ikon ZM and Adox Silvermax. I think it was with the 50mm lens, probably at F1.5 or F2.0.

Just got back from Japan on Thursday night. Have only maganed to scan a couple polaroids. Have about 300+ Polaroids to scan, 17 rolls of 35mm to get developed, and 10-12 rolls of 120 to develop.

File this under "failed experiments in expired film". I was feeling overconfident in my box-speed-shot, 1961-expired, stand-developed film that Peter S gave me, so I shot this roll of 1984-expired Ektachrome at box speed and developed it in C41. Result? An almost completely-clear strip of negs  ;D I was actually able to salvage a few in Lightroom by pushing 3 stops. Here's one, shot in broad daylight into the sun:

Sunset at noon by Indofunk Satish, on Flickr

Luckily, I have 4 more rolls, so I'll use the 1 stop/decade rule on them and shoot them at .... ISO8??  :o

Normal C-41 goes pretty well but as soon as I try to push it it seems to go pear shaped for me as well. Tried some scotch chrome 800/3200 and xpro'ed it well... still figuring it out, tried some fuji 100/1000ms.... same same, pushing c-41 still has got many secrets for me as well.
Oh BTW bought an olympus XA2, that little camera looked like it is so much fun when we were in rudy's. I couldn't resist specially when you see how cheap they are... But that plus-x just seems to age very well

Congrats on the XA2! That's the one with zone focus and no manual aperture control? A friend of mine has that one and loves it, and keeps making fun of me when I struggle with the focusing patch on my XA. I've ended up guess-focusing 100% of the time. But having full aperture-priority is a plus. Does the XA2 allow you to overexpose/underexpose (other than with ISO adjustment)?
