I like how shiny it is. And the extra large red badge.

I like the red lining, I'm hoping it might be reversable - 2 coats in one!

Nah.....that was the 80's. Mullets, BIG shoulder pads, blokes wearing make up (not just talking "glam" rock, either), Timmy Mallett / Christopher Biggins spectacles, Boy George, Wham, Spandau Ballet...........yeuchh.....makes me shudder just thinking about it  :o

Even in the seventies that 'look' could get you arrested - especially if you were creeping around the bushes on Hampstead Heath, as this bloke seems to be.

Has anybody read the text?
(boy is it an eye breaking small font)
Quote
HERE IT IS -- the Practical Photography photographers' coat. Made specially to meet the exacting demands of the photo enthusiast, the PP coat will keep you snug on the coldest days AND give you ample stowage space for films, lenses, meters, filters, etc. Two of the pockets are large enough -- and strong enough -- to safely hold a 35mm camera body.

The PP photo coat is a tough one. It is made in waterproofed lining in an attractive blue with a thick quilted lining in deep maroon. It is fitted with a very strong zip.

The shoulders have been strengthened to give extra weather protection and to avoid wear and tear when carrying heavy gadget bags. And button-down epaulettes enable you to carry cameras and gadget bags slung from the shoulders without straps sliding off.

The left-hand breast pocket is specially designed for carrying films, while the other three outside pockets are for general-purpose use. There is also a large inside pocket on the left-handed side.

Sleeves have draught-excluding cuffs, while a nylon hood is stowed away in the top of the jacket. It is simply pulled up and over the head when required.

Completing the attractive appearance of the coat and adding a touch of individuality is the Practical Photography badge over the left-hand breast pocket, finished in maroon and white.

PP photo coats are available in blue only, in small, medium and large sizes.

TO GET your PP Photographers' coat, complete the coupon on the right, enclose cheque or postal orders for £7.50 (made payable to "Practical Photography") and post to: PP Coat, Practical Photography, EMAP Ltd. Oundle Rd. Petersborough. Allow three weeks for delivery; more if ordering over Christmas. If you don't want to cut your copy of PP, include the details in a letter. Remember to state size required (small, medium or large).
