Hi folks, just wanted to pop in and assure everybody that this is still going to happen, I am the log jam at the moment due to lots of calls on my time from all over the place, but very soon I will be able to get back to everything and we’ll have something to put out.

so hows this project coming along?

So far I haven't had any news from Verian. It seems like this project has been dragging for what seems like forever.
Over at the Magazine forum (for those who have access), Leon and I are wondering what's going on with that project and what to do about it.

Personally, I'm hesitant in calling it dead since I wanted this so much... but then there's the reality of things.
I haven't seen noteworthy progress for over 6 months. Verian doesn't seem to be either unable physically to make the work or lacks the motivation/time to finish the job.
All I know from the last message we exchanged is that his life seems to be on the roller coaster of bad luck. That probably has a lot to do with it.

I just checked his blog and he hasn't posted anything since February 3^rd.
And on his iPernity page, nothing since January 22^nd.

So far I still don't really know what to make of it...

Well it seems he still frequents the forum, last active date is the 17th of this month. I'm in the process of launching a youtube channel otherwise I would offer to take the reigns to get everything set up.

If you do, I suggest switching from inDesign to Scribus as the last one is completely free, open source, cross platform and pretty darn good.
