Limr, I also hear that adorama is shipping some orders from their back order queue.

I just checked and mine is being shipped! Woot!

Just bought 3 packs for under £40 inc shipping. Mostly because I want to try it before it disappears. Little bit worried

Big mistake. If you like it then you'll be disappointed that it's discontinued. If you don't like it you'll be disappointed you spent the £40.

Just send it to me instead and avoid the disappointment.

When my wife complains about how much film I have in the fridge I'll just show her some of the pictures above and tell her it could be worse. ;D

that was not all of it, that's just what I took out for date rotation and to make room. Missing are 50 additional packs of Polacolor 661, integral (Spectra, instax, fotorama, a few impossible) and 4x5 instant. There is also the frozen negative stash...

My 3 packs arrived from HK without any problem, all in date, box a bit battered but the contents seem ok.

I'd like to see some kind of visualisation of the remaining polaroid expired film vs. who owns it.

I should imagine there would be a set of 'super owners' who own a significant percentage - many of us included  :)

I just bought another four packs. Brings my grand total to 15.  I'll keep on getting a pack or two here when I can. I'm drooling over the piles some of y'all have!

Another 10 from B&H on their way. $13.95 a pack, not too bad. Ordered some other film and some Printfile sleeves too. Will  be up to 25 packs when they arrive. Had I had the money I would have ordered all 91 packs they had in stock.

When I have a lot of a particular film, I tend to use it... but when that supply reduces to a handful and become discontinued... I often think "I have to use this wisely and not be a Filmwaster!" This sometimes leads me to have film I wont use for a long time.

I have gobs of Polaroid film and won't run out any time soon, but even so I don't really have a "I have to save it!" mentality. If I like the shots I'm getting from it, I don't ever consider it a waste, even if it means less or none in the future. There are a couple film types that I only have a few packs of that I save for special occasions, but if I use it, I use it. I think I used up all of my 663 during one road trip to California. Wish I had some more but oh well, moving on.
Also, some film just doesn't seem to last, regardless of storage, so i need to start using it up. My 667 is getting dull and grainy. My Type 88 and 85 is all crap for the most part and I bought most of it new and have kept it in the fridge ever since. But the ID-UV and 669 that I bought 4 years ago is still like new.

Though I don't waste it like I used to when Polaroid was still being made, when I would kill an entire pack trying to get one shot.
"A world without Polaroid is a terrible place."

Totally know what you both mean. Have a good stash but sometimes want to make it last by not shooting it. But I bought it to take photos with and it will just go off if not used.

Agree 667 seems to age worst. I sold all my chocolate too as never got on with that. I'm just shooting my film oldest first (unless it is something I need to guarantee good film for) and buying more its the right age and price. 669 has gone crazy though, saw £45 for 20 shots the other day.

Oh really? Maybe It's time to sell last few packs of 669. I "accidentally" sold some FP-100B, FP-400B and FI-10LT for more than I expected! I listed them ages ago and forgot about it. But that's okay as I was not using it.

SO theres this petition I found. Looks like some people are looking to get impossible to pick up the film. Actually could lead to some exciting color films too now that I think about it.

The link works for me. It would be great to save their equipment from the same fate as the Polaroid peel-apart machinery. I wonder whether it's the same equipment that Fuji used for the 4x5 versions of 3000B? If not then I wonder what happened to it?

I've emailed impossible several times begging them to pick up the production and make some bw type 100 film. Let's cross our fingers  ;D.
