Stunning photos, guys. Real feeling of nostalgia.

Can anyone join in? If this is limited to out of date Polaroid, please feel free to delete - and apologies, I'm not intending to gatecrash.... :o

I've been having a play with a B&W photo in Lightroom. Looking to create a sort of split tone look.

I can see where you get that impression LD... I wanted this thread to contain blue photographs. Title; the blue colours sits between shades of green and purple. Most of my blue photos are polaroids, because of the nature of various expired film.

Thanks for the clarification.  I'm going through a blue plase at the moment. I'm not usually one for heavy post processing but some of the shots I've run through lightroom lately seem to benefit from a bit of additional colour....

OK I think Cyan is between lilac and green if I remember my physics correctly  ::)

jharr has inspired me to do some more cyanotypes, although he has inspired me at the wrong time of the year! I have had more luck in the summer than now, so I might have to put off returning to playing with them until next year. But between his cyanotype and this thread it has prompted me to look at some of my old cyanotypes I did about a decade ago.

Note: This was done with a 645 neg but magically appeared as a 8x10 cyanotype. I wish I could say that I made an interneg in the darkroom, but I did not. I ran some acetate through a piece of modern 1960's technology called a photocopier  :-[

No shame in using a copier!

Now, this is as minimalist as you can get. A happy accident. I had bought a Polaroid Printer and when I opened the back, I saw there was still film in it. So I pulled the paper out, let it develop and this is what I got. I just love the color which to my surprise isn't yellow even if I opened it under incandescent lights. It's on some color Fuji FP-100C.

For some reason, I also didn't realize at first that this was a "Post your blue pictures!" type of thread.

Here are two that are from a roll that was still in the camera when I decided to open the back. I had one "happy accident" from that roll that I adore, and just the other day, I was rediscovering the rest of that roll and decided that there were a few more keepers. I think the tone and sprockets suit the sort of nostalgic "Old Town, U.S.A." subject matter.

I've posted these before, but since they are indeed (mostly) blue I suppose I'll do so again.

This one was shot in Hong Kong around 3 years ago, even if it seems decades now. The film batch is Pola 669 from ยด85, at that time I did not know how that film reacted to light and color, so I wasted most of it  ::) but I still have one left, now I have to remember to let it warm before using it  ::)

Dave, I'm sure your picture is incredible as usual, but unfortunately, I had to scroll by it as fast as I could. Those underwater wrecks give me the heebie-jeebies! Excuse me, I have to go to my happy place now and think of kittens.
