Free talk: April Saul, Pulitzer Prize-Winning Photojournalist
« on: October 02, 2013, 03:21:14 PM »
Hi All,

I was able to get another terrific speaker for our free event series here: April Saul, the Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist from the Philadelphia Inquirer is going to be here on October 21. She has a pretty amazing career story as well as work. Very inspirational: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/find/eventDetails.jsp/id/1648  And not only that, she has a lot to say about the commitment to tell the stories that others are overlooking.

There are still steats. If you're in the NYC, please join us. As always, it's free!

With the greatest respect to April Saul I read this, saw Saul, and my mind added 'Leiter' on to the end! I was just Googling Virgin Atlantic when I did a retake.  :-[ I spent two weeks walking the streets of Manhattan imagining I was going to bump into Mr Leiter.  :( Never mind, have fun!

Saul Leiter is about 90 years old so I hope you don't bump into him (you could knock him over). I've actually tried to get him to speak here in the Event Space. No luck so far, but keep your fingers crossed!
