Plus they have been busy with the Library

This is me trying to explain to some young hoodlums how a Pinhole image is made.  You will note his hand movements, he was making this sweet little gang signs - although he didnt seem to appreciate me calling them sweet.

I told them I was in a gang when I was about his age, we were called "the cubs"

I like the ghostly figures in Damion's last two and Andrea's one.  And surely that's not 'little Alma' there Carlos?

Damion the 2nd pinhole is superb!

Carlos -  two lovely portraits.

I've posted these two elsewhere on the site, but I like them and so here they are again.  Holga plus Efke IR820.

Currently scanning another batch of IR films.

The first pinhole does it for me Damion. And Charles´first IR.

Another roll of 6x17 pano´s this week. 4 frames doesn´t give much room for mucking about. These are the two better. They both have people in them, even people undressing (very evident on the 35mpix scans at least)

Damion - loving those pinholes, particularly no. 3.

Carlos - I think you have something of a disadvantage in your portraits; having such attractive subjects!  ;) Great work!

Cracking images Damion! Carlos, I know that upside down "move" very well ;D. Charles, great IR images again.

Two shots from me from last year back in Grenoble. Turns out the Zeiss Ikon Contessa has a very sharp edge somewhere close to the film gate and removes a fine strip of film. Of course they stayed on the film and now I have curly bits of film all over the frames  >:( At least these two were OK.

Charles, those IR shots are lovely. And Ezzie, I like your vertical pano. I feel like I could run right off the end of the dock.

It has been so long since I developed anything so each weekend thread has been, despite everyone's fantastic work, a little depressing. Well I've finally gotten out of my funk. Here are a couple taken last December.

Wow. One of the best weekend starts this year.

- Love Carlos' first portrait
- Gavechase's first is superb - very Michael Kenna.....

Mine this week are from Lacock Abbey in Wiltshire. I had to wait ages to get clear shots but I'm pleased with the results. Nikon F3HP with 20mm / f2.8 Ai-S and 50mm / f1.2 Ai lenses on Ilford XP2 Super. Scanned on Epson V750. Processed via PS Elements 11. Minimal adjustments.

I didn't think you could use C-41 like that...
Yes, diluted about 4 times more than regular working solution and developed about 6 minutes at about 38 °C manually in  a tank with tempered mantlebath, agitated every 15 seconds. I used the "Rollei Digibase" C-41 developer. Btw, what a troll name for a film developer! So, insted of 25 ml stock solution of Part A, B and C each for 250 ml working developer I took only 6 ml of each and used the developer one-shot. Time vs dilution is not linear, so for 1/4 of the concentrate the dev time is only doubled. The first time I didn't beleave that and the film was clearly overdeveloped. Bleach and fix as usual.

I red this on a german board and it works. I wanted a one-shot color developer and found it. Here another one on relabeled cheapest Fuji 400 film.

Best - Reinhold

It's been so long since I last used a camera that I forgot where the volume control knob was.  I've sustained my photo interest here, though.  Great work, all.

Here are some landscapes shot this week with my Olympus OM-1, 50mm lens, on Kodak Gold 400.

Nice work moiz.   really nice stuff.   made even better as chesil beach has a significant place in the shared history of the wife and I.Although its maybe worth pointing out neither of us have been there.  Chesil beach just being shorthand for a slice of cheddar.   I can only really imagine the reason why i would want to share such a pointless and ridiculous story is the 5 pints of ubu that have been onboarded. Here are a couple of fairly recent snaps.

The first is from a Hasselblad 501CM, shot on Fuji Acros; the second was shot with an "Acme" Diana clone on Lucky SHD100. The Acme is by far the worst Diana clone I've shot with, and not really in a good way....

What did you expect with a name like that? (OK, I've watched a certain well known coyote get his hide skinned by Acme made devices one too many times ;) )

Just for some quirky useless knowledge, in the dictionary Acme means the "Summit or pinnacle"... it doesn't say if it relates to quality.

Hi Cadha13.

Nice shots but those cameras aren't for the faint-hearted. Very brave to hand-hold with moving subjects. You'll definitely get the best out of it and improve your keeper rate if you put a tripod under it.
