The comments on the site are interesting and eye-opening. It's always a problem if you say to the young generation, that the old things were better than the new ones. When I was young you should have tried to convince me that old Elvis was better than Pink Floyd    You can't criticize the lifestyle of the youngsters without being beaten up.

The comments section was hilarious and sad at the same time - I doubt if any of the detractors of analogue have ever made a film in their lives yet still they comment!!

PS I'm more of a Stranglers fan myself  Pink Floyd is for ancient hippies

If it helps that companies continue to produce film, this could be an acceptable justification to make another Star Wars Movie.
Not sure if it will make me watch it though

I was never a fan of the star wars franchise, or in fact most of what Hollywood cranks out.  But this morning I heard from a former student who just cut a trailer for an indie feature shot on 5219 and was reminded that if we need stuff like star wars to keep Kodak making film for others to use, then so be it.  I'm also a little bit amused because of course it was Lucas who once led the "film is dead" brigade.

The comments section of any website is the best. My favourites are the comments on band videos on YouTube followed closely by comments on Pirate Bay; it's all great entertainment.

I don't want to put fire to it but what I've heard is that the next Star Wars will be shot entirely with a Lomokino camera using lomo brand redscale film

And lucky for us it isn't!
After being a big Star Wars fan when I was a kid, I thought Episode 1 wasn't that good, Episode 2 was worst and I couldn't stand sitting through the DVD of Episode 3. And now, I don't even think I'll even go see the new feature or even rent the DVD. Lucas killed the magic all by himself.

Yep, the three prequels were rubbish. The three originals are pretty good though. My money is on this new one being better than the recent ones but not as good as the originals.
