Spent most of the weekend banging my head against the wall on the TV Freaks collaboration, when what I really wanted to do was fly to Hawaii and recreate Lost.
Instead, accidentally found myself in the town next door during the Garden Fair. All the public floral arrangements have been replaced with edible ones, big beautiful veggies, rainbow chard, etc., all meant to be harvested. Even corn, in Alaska. Go figure. It's very cool.
So, of course, my daughter ate her first flower. Nasturtiums, I've eaten, but never violets. And anyone ever eat a marigold?

The color is a little lurid in this roll of expired Fujicolor.
