While that would work in principle, the other requirement is that the covering material should be Wenn Family skin coloured.....Hmmmm, maybe I could whip up some cookie dough and let them eat it afterwards?

If you could pull that off it would be really awesome Ed! I remember that episode ;)

I was going to take a picture of two sandhill cranes mating and call it Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, but my wife was reluctant to put on the costume.

Thanks very much for the last minute inclusions from Canadia and Alaskia. They are very much welcome.
 ;D
I was out of town for the weekend anyway and didn't get back to a sweltering London until around midnight last night and didn't have time to put the gallery online. I will therefore be putting the gallery up tonight (Monday 15th July). If any of you want to send in your submission in the meantime, please feel free to do so. We could definitely do with a few more photos if possible.

I must apologize as I had my shot all worked out in my head but when proposed to my model (son) was told "no way dad." Guess he didn't like the idea of having his hair spiked up and to the sides and silver stars adhered to his forehead. Too bad as I'd found a model for Bacon Sandwich.

Well, certainly, instant cameras and willing models are a help, but I also find it's useful to have a Plan A, B & C :-)

Now THIS one looks like being a lot of fun! I'm already picturing a slice of cherry pie and a steaming mug of Joe being sent in by the Twin Peaks fan

on reading the thread after posting I see that Ed had me sussed out from the start :-P although my first thought was a shot that would have been a tad more ambitious to recreate.

Also Ed. I was too a massive fringe fan. did you notice the twin peaks reference... think it was season 4... can't remember off the top of my head. infact there were possibly others.
