You just have to check this out!
It's just too much fun.
Since Photographica is coming in less than a month, this ought to let you "prepare" your salivary glands for the long day :)

What hit me was the quality of the pictures, some were very 3D, evidently taken with cameras not unlike those being pictured. Great series.

When I look at the people with the 5x7 SLR's, all I can think about is the sound these things must have made!

Just the mirror slap must have been epic.

This is awesome Francois...
I love the guy with Leica pointing to the "wrong" direction... never heard about that sort of viewfinder (or is he being a dumb?)

Personally, just the tripod would raise some eyebrows... anyone noticed the spikes they had on them back in the days? Just imagine what it would do to those nice marble and hardwood floors!

The guy leaning out over the railing on a high building is my favorite.. I could see doing that myself! :)

I must admit he doesn't seem to have any kind of vertigo. Not that have it but leaning over a railing on the top floor holding a box that must weigh as much as a small boat anchor doesn't sound too good to me.

Excuse me lady, I just dropped my camera! Sorry for the big dent in your car's roof  :P
