Ooh great start, i can see the DR pics becoming a great feature.
That Direct Positive image is amazing, I've got some paper when I got my Titan but never used it, did you preflash or any other tricks?
I've been image-lite this week, work is busy, printed a few images, I'll find them and post them later.

You've seen half of this image before, this is the argyrotype print I made last night

Schism by donkerdave, on Flickr

Went out in the pi$$ing rain, so cold and wet I actually gave up - and of the 4 shots I took, 3 had water ingress into the dark slide with resulting odd development, this one sort of works, I think it's growing on me - FP4 scan

Yes, that's right, the World Baseball Classic Champion Dominican Republic, or Republica Dominicana, in which case DR is RD.

Been a bit mixed up and busy lately hence my lack of activity. Sorting myself out and been scanning some stuff that's been lying around the place - this is 'Duck Loads' - the name (of the duck) resulting from a spelling mistake in a text message from Mrs W.  ;)

Taken on Portra using a loaned Bronica  :)

Such a striking portrait from Damian - wonderful stuff.  Andrej's atmospheric woodland is very appealing too.

Love Kevin Allan's "white on white" and Sapata's post-modernist Ku-Klux-Klan Konvention. Nick Moys' "Aldeburgh" is a masterclass in understatement.

I'll have to see what I have in reserve as I've barely picked up a camera for a couple of weeks.....

Hi everyone. Great to be here again and be part of another weekend thread. Lots of fantastic material already (Diane, make sure you wrap up warm!!!), but Yglotte gets a special mention because that's an absolutely gorgeous portrait....I wish I'd taken something like that when I was your age  :D

I've finally managed to get some proper film processed and am in the middle of a scanning session. Here's the first decent one which jumped out at me from my 'contact scans'. It's Her Highness (as usual) and it was taken at least 2 years ago at Sandymouth beach in Cornwall. Bronica S2A and some expired Efke 50 or 25.

diane: I'm feeling cozy by looking at your shots this weekend. feels like home :)

now me, I've been in the darkroom this evening. feels great~~ tried out some old scanfors paper with my kodak lith. the structure is interesting and it's got a nice warmth to it. managed to get a few dry to take home, the rest is drying up in the darkroom.

last pic is just me playing around with the lights on, I needed to check that the paper was lithable.

Some more amazing pictures this week!

Here is my humble offering, a generic bathroom mirror selfie:

Generic Self Portrait by Moiz, on Flickr

My first ever shot on 5x4 film, tray processed. I decided, God knows why, to go for two sheets together. 15 secs goes by very fast when you have to shuffle those things and if they stick to the bottom of the tray, panic starts to set in. I was convinced I wouldn't be able to make out an image behind all the scratches I was leaving on them but was surprised to find they turned out pretty well. I may even have another go, once I recover.

The scan is of a print on RC paper. The print is far better than the scan but unfortunately I only have a crappy all-in-one job to scan on and it's awful.

Sorry for the ramble.

Terry, mcduff and Yglotte, thanks guys.  I'm often humbled by the quality of photography I see on these pages
so I underestimate my own work regularly. Besides, I almost fumbled it while developing as my android timer
doesn't work with c-41 films and I had to use my wrist watch and got confused couple of times.

Top two shots are from my olympus XA on expired portra 160 nc and the last one is agfa ultra 100! If you can ever find some of this stuff i would reccomend giving it a whirl. If you love color, agfa ultra is like taking saturation up to 11.

Yglotte:

The pic was taken on Vyner Street, East London... Quite a good art scene was building in the area but rising rents as the 'cool skinny jean crowd' moved in have forced many galleries to close/move on.
