Now, I know there are a few of you interested in cycle racing - I even met a lovely filmwaster and her husband at the Olympic RR. I have just stumbled on this lovely blog

Outstanding, Andrea.
I particularly like the one on page two where the bucket of water is being thrown over a rider. I assume to cool him down, but, the weight of water looks as if it might be enough to knock him off his bike. Priceless!

Fascinating stuff!! I particularly like the photo of the riders at the Stelvio with about 6ft of snow - wearing short sleeved vests!
They really were tough cookies in those days!
