Perhaps he meant there is something exciting going in Ilford, the town in far east London. And of course there are many possible events that this could be referring to. I understand for instance that "Playing Rapunzel" are at the Redbridge Green Fair Live Music Club on Ilford High Road tomorrow night, performing stories and myths in folk song. Only £4 entry too!

If it's in days, day 1 is 29 November and, therefore, 30 November would be the day "it" (whatever "it" might be) would be due to happen.

Anyone got any bright ideas whether 30 November has any photographic / Ilford / Harman connections?

36 could, of course, have something to do with the number of shots on a standard roll of 35mm film (unless you buy a 24 or 12 roll, of course......

)

And my guess is the color will be blue...

Although Kodachrome it was not, I quite liked the Ilford colour slide film back in the 80's. Wouldn't a new colour film count as a new product? I still haven't worked out what the weird number sequence Leon posted is all about.....

These have been around for years but are coming to the general public.

But somehow, I don't think sensitizing old socks would give good results... besides, they would stretch in the camera

Leon said it wasn't a new product. But when I hinted at a corporate acquisition, he's been more than quiet...
So, my guess is that they're going to buy some company with a round logo that recently ceased production of something...
