« on: September 06, 2012, 11:44:49 PM »
I haven't started one of these for ages, so here goes.......

One from a recent trip to a National Trust property at Sissinghurst in Kent. Mamiya 7 with 43mm lens, Ilford XP2 Super with a bit of a vignette courtesy of Nik Silver Efex Pro.

LC-A+

also one with polaroid 600 film, also a" forgotten in the drawer" thing...just realized I had a camera that would use this film..

What a jawdroppingly beautiful weekend stream this is!!  I'm still scanning from vacation.   Here's one of my reclaimed Fuji instant negs, a FUji 3000b and a Type 665.  I hope to be done by end of October.  No, really.  :-/

I agree, it's another great week. I quite like your third photo, original_ann.

I had the good luck to find a Minolta Autocord CDS II for a good price recently and now that I've seen the results I couldn't be happier.

A new lens arrived this week, bought from DS. A replacement for my daughters Petri (the last one fell apart when I was using it). Finished off a roll of Retro 400 that was in the camera then made a mistake in the processing (pulling instead of pushing..DOH!!!). Some cropping and adjustments in elements.

It came from Staffordshire by windy_, on Flickr

my first ever experience with "type 59" polaroid film...it came out all blue so I corrected it with Silver efex..other than that I am thinking not bad for a beginner. Using 4x5 pinhole camera, f261, 5 second exposure.

Ann, your second one is just great, it reminds of the Hungarian Photography School from the 30s and 40s like it!  :)

I wanted to see if my auto 110 and expired superia 200 still worked before I bought some of the new lomo stuff. The only probs were with the fading batteries which gave me the final image here

finally! I took a big leap of faith and developed my own color film..amazingly easy, or did I just have excellent tutorials from my friends over at Filmwasters? I had the chemicals in my cupboard for ever so long, just decided today had to be the day!! So happy with the results..didn’t even need Photoshop to “fix” anything!!

Yesterday was the toronto board meeting. Think flashmob on longboards taking over the streets downtown. It was 100% chance of rain but for some reason the sun decided to pop out for a good portion of the whole ride. I was shooting with my LC-A+ while riding. I had some problems with the expired film i was shooting, i assume that it just died in sensitivity. (im not having great luck) Some shots came out though. This was my favourite so far. I have another roll that i shot there too but its got a few exposures left. So i'll waste them on something interesting later.

Just to get some sort of idea of how many people we had. We counted a few over 1,000 people.

If you go into the articles section and look at the link to my lab software, you'll find that I made an app called Old Film (it's included in the software suite). It calculates the approximate sensitivity according to the age of the film. Try it and let me know what you think. So far, I've had great success with it.

Wonderful, Diane. Loving the colour!

I have been resisting developing my own for quite some time, but, last week the only store in my town that can develop 120 announced that they are closing - time to sort my crap out and get to it!

Thanks Francois! i hadn't realized how old this film actually was until i got the results back. I'll be sure to use your app and share it around if you dont mind!

No problem, that's what I made it for :)

You'll see that there are a lot more features than just the old film app. Most of them for darkroom use. One for proper EXIF tagging and one for photomosaics à la Lomo Printlab.

Nice start Late & Tin.

Top Polas too from the usual suspects.

Just developed a roll of PanF+ from my Zero and the backing numbers have bled through on every image, all of them too ! I've had this on Efke 127 before, but NEVER on Ilford.
