These series of pictures were contrived after a short conversation with the Surrey based artist Owen Ward during his recent exhibition entitled 'THE FORGOTTEN COLOURS OF SUMMER'...
We are both surprisingly very similarly attuned to art and both have a mutual liking for each others work, but even so the idea of photographing his exquisite work only in isolated parts with a different medium and take (without the artist procrastinating) was still daunting...
With the hardware at my disposal it was even more surprising that instantly I wanted to work with the Polaroid SLR680 camera and a pack of the faster 600 'Cool' film with no filter in relation to the gallery space's difficult lighting...
Eight images were shot and shown a few days later to Mr Ward who informed me he was pleased with the smaller 'zoomed in' specific interpretations of his labours...
