keep calm...

and shoot HP5 plus!

ilford put some wallpapers and a screensaver up on their page. I like em haha~
http://www.ilfordphoto.com/photocommunity/featurearticle.asp?n=38

also, I'm back from my vacation  ;D
dragged a bunch of rolls through my bronica, really getting to know here. I'm excited to see the results!
here's a few shots.. I'll drop off more in the coming weekend threads most probably :)

I got a few shots where focus is off (see last shot), I might have to check the pads under the viewfinder screen...
that and some rolls the camera starts shooting before the actual film starts. might have to check the manual so I know I'm loading the camera correctly. anyone else had problems with this?  :-\

totally adore that second shot with the cat on the porch!    :)

Very nice rural feel to it.

Jonas: Glad you're enjoying the camera and I'm sure you'll sort out the niggles ASAP. Not had the "shooting before the film's started" problem on any of my Bronnys though. Of these shots, I'm with Becky in that second one is fantastic. It's picture-book good, but not at all corny or cheesy. I love the natural feel to it, the fresh colours. It conjours up feelings of a fresh, slightly chilly summer morning....I feel like I'm there. Perfect :-) The first one I almost like as much, but there's something going on with the contrast. Maybe you could do more with it either in printing or in P'shop to make it more dramatic. Either way, they're lovely.

Jonas, excellent images, both here and in the weekend thread..
Seeing shots like these, it almost makes me want to shoot colour...

thanks! it's fun being able to develop my own colour films but the downside is that the darkroom action stops there. or.. I could start colour printing but that seems to cost more in time and money than I want to put down right now. and I dunno how long colour paper will be avaliable?
anyway, just developing c-41 is easy enough. I highly recommend it :)

That's not a bad idea... Somehow I always forget about this possibility and consider colour as non-DIY process... Maybe I shall try it one day...

Awesome Jonas! I miss Sweden. One day I'll have to go back there for a nice summer holiday. After all I met my wife there.

Well, I came up with this and put it on a t-shirt!  (no, really, I'm selling it on eBay even as I write)

I think it's a little cleverer than Ilford's, but that's just MHO.  :)

That's very witty, Pete.

Of course, there are almost endless possibilities here, like for example

Keep calm
and
use Rodinal

or

Keep calm
and
make more prints

:)
