posting photos from flickr
« on: May 18, 2012, 09:08:25 AM »
Apologies for being a technophobe, and for asking such a basic question, but I'd like to add photos from flickr into forum posts, rather than attaching them directly, but am struggling to figure it out! The 'share' drop down menu on flickr gives various choices of code, and I'm not sure which bit I need to paste between the .  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks, Nick.

Nick - go to your image on flickr and go to ACTIONS > VIEW ALL SIZES > MEDIUM 640 then ctrl click (or right click on a PC) and select COPY LINK. Once you have copied the link, type (but without the spaces!) [ img ] paste the link here [ / img ]

Using the "Share" menu. you go to the photo page and select Share > Grab the HTML/BBCode.

Then select the BBCode radio button and Flickr will give you the code to copy and paste. This way also provides a link back to your Flickr page.

It will look like this:-

Code: [Select]
